Obsessing
I can feel it. Since my desktop died a couple of weeks ago I have yet to find a new financial program to keep track of our accounts with. I started a new excel spreadsheet and started keeping track but I’m doing what I used to do – obsessing about checking our balance online.
For some reason, using the Money program made me feel safe and secure. It made me only have to update the account every few days, especially after the automatic updating actually started to work! Now I have to make sure that no receipt goes missing and I get it entered as soon as possible. We bought groceries today and the first thing I did after we got home (okay second, I did have to put the groceries away!) was enter the amount into excel. I hope this goes away. I don’t like being obsessive and don’t get why this happens with something simple like excel vs. with a more extensive program.
