Consulting Jobs
I’ve been working various consulting jobs off and on for the past ten years or so. After I was out of high school I worked for our school district’s technology guy – it was there I learned html, a couple of wysiwyg programs, as well as a few specialized software programs. I had a couple of consulting jobs that included me creating websites for the company.
One thing I don’t like is that I didn’t keep up on the website building technology. I don’t know how to do php at all. I know I should learn but I just haven’t yet. I remember being so excited when I figured out css and ssi.
I could never get a consulting job creating websites now. I am fine working on mine and doing a mod here or there on my blogs, but other then that, nope.
I’m at the beginning of one of my ‘what should I do with the rest of my life’ stages again. I need to get my degree, I need to take some classes, I need to just do it. I am going to look into the various colleges/universities that are offering free classes. I need to get back into that learning mode again.
