Another One Down
The payment for my DH’s credit card has cleared and it has a zero balance. That will be the last time we ever use a tax return (or any other large amount of money) to pay it off. He was carrying the card in his wallet but took it out and put it in his desk. He said he isn’t comfortable cutting it up because we don’t have savings yet. I understand that as if something does come up – a true emergency – having access to the credit card would be good.
In a few more months we will also have the other credit card paid off. The payment to the school for tuition still very much upsets me but we will be getting paid back for it, at some point.
