I’m so excited – we might be getting a large settlement payment sometime in the future. Okay so it’s hard not to be excited thinking of being able to pay off credit cards, the car and a large chunk of my student loan. But on the other hand, it is “sometime in the future” that you don’t get excited about.

I do have to apply, not a big deal except for the stack of paperwork I need to do. Once that is done they have to decide if I am eligible for the settlement and go from there. With luck, I am. It’s a family thing and my Dad is doing a lot of work on it too.
