I’ve been thinking about long term goals – and for some reason the farthest I can think is next summer.

By next summer we will have no credit card debt and no car payment. We will have the baby emergency fund fully funded, more savings being added to it and the automatic savings started again.

It’s hard to look beyond that.

We should also save so we can buy another car in a few years. We should save for various things like airline tickets home, things we want like a new dining room table and such.
