It’s hard to judge living on one income sometimes since the military lifestyle is so different then civilian life. About 90% of our military friends live on one income with the wife not even wanting to have a job. Without getting into kids and staying home – it’s amazing that so many people can make it work on one income. Especially when I see my family struggling to do so (not my family as in my husband and I – my family as in my brothers, cousins, etc).

Of course we’ve managed to make it work without running up too much debt. I know we don’t owe as much as some of our friends do. I’m going to be featuring a few articles about living off of on income and I hope to get my brother involved too.
