It didn’t take me that long and even less time reading to come to realize that a charge off is a bad deal. I suppose I knew that before researching it – erasing debt doesn’t just magically happen AND become good for you!

So now I am left to pay more every month. I am steadily earning more from my wah job and come January the DH will get several pay raises (col, year bump, etc.) which we have already decided will go toward debt.

That being said – I need to go over our budget again. Keeping a handle on money is never super easy and when you are paying off debt, it’s always important to check and check again.
