I found the Carnival of Debt Reduction which lead me to Check up on your cable bill.

So I made a quick phone call to reduce our cable bill. Sneaky company that my cable/internet company is, I have a package that if you split the services up, it all goes up.

After realizing that I would be cool with a short term savings, the guy I spoke to said he could lower my bill by $10 for the next three months. $30 isn’t a lot, but it’s something! And I can always call back after that three months is over.

I’m off to call my insurance company as I know our auto insurance is up for renewal.

UPDATE: Our policy is paid in full until December so they don’t even have a new policy ready for us yet. But I marked it in my Google Calendar to give them a call six weeks before it does! I hope it can go down a smidge!
