More Dryer Talk

I found three places for dryers – two via craigslist and one on ebay. The two from craigslist never contacted me again and the one on ebay is an hour and a half away. If the dryer 1 1/2 hours away costs $150, plus a round trip tank of gas would be about $50, plus the three hours of time (not including if I run into really bad traffic) – I’m not sure it is worth it for a used dryer. The person selling it from ebay does give a 90 day fix or replace warrenty, but I admit I’m still wary.

Sears is having a one day only 20% off Kenmore appliances tomorrow so the kids and I are going down to check it out. I’m going to print a few of the dryers that I like off of the website (for price comparisons) and hopefully will be able to spend $350 or less. I haven’t checked out other brands simply because I like and am comfortable with Kenmore. Sears has the cool “advisor” feature too – shop by options and change your mind and it goes back to the original settings. I’ve been playing round with that, which is how I ended up with the $350 figure.

Sears is having a separate laundry sale right now so I’m going to check that out before this particular sale ends.
