A couple of weeks ago I stopped by Lowe’s and managed to get some CFL light bulbs on sale. I replaced the bulbs in the ceiling fan but nothing else yet. I’m debating taking them back and finding a lower wattage bulb. I have always liked bright rooms, I don’t like it to be dark when I am reading. I’m sure it comes from wearing glasses most of my life. But I bought 100 watt bulbs – very bright! It’s okay in the living room but I have yet to be used to it completely.

Of course 100 watts is bright! I have read up on the savings that CFL bulbs can bring though so I’m intersted in replacing all of the bulbs that we are able to. Our electricity is always expensive in this house so every little bit helps.
