And updates: as of Oct 1, the hubs pay raise has kicked in. Since we get paid twice a month, this paycheck was for 1/2 of the money of being paid more. Which was of course only half of the raise. Nonetheless, it was WELCOME!

We are also due his bonus this week. Yes, we have plans for the bonus already, I’ll share those tomorrow or so.

We have been holding ourselves accountable since January, since starting Dave’s debt snowball plan – but we are really so bad at that debt snowball. It is disappointing really.

And of course who cares but us right? Everyone in America has been trained that it is okay to be in debt so when we try to talk to family about it – they say “oh but it’s ‘good’ debt, so it’s okay.” Um, no – not to us it isn’t.
